New Features

Firmware Validation

WisDM now supports firmware requirements validation during firmware upgrade operations.

Certain firmware versions may require gateways to already run a minimum firmware version before installation is allowed.

This validation now applies to:

• Manual firmware updates for a single gateway
• Manual firmware updates for gateways within a location
• Critical firmware update workflows

If a gateway does not meet the required minimum firmware version, the upgrade will be blocked until the minimum supported firmware version is installed first.

Improvements

Critical Firmware Update Flow Enhancement

The critical firmware update process has been improved to support prerequisite firmware dependencies.

Updated behavior

• Gateways below the required minimal firmware version will not receive the critical update automatically.
• Once the supported firmware is installed, the gateway becomes eligible for the critical firmware update.
• This ensures safer and more predictable upgrade sequencing.
   

UI Improvements

• Updated the SD card missing indicator icon color to red for improved visibility
• Improved gateway deletion confirmation text copy
   

Bug Fixes

• Resolved an issue where the Save Changes button became active after selecting the Authentication mode as None, even when the value was already configured previously
