Gateways’ History logs feature allows you to store and check the system logs directly in the WisDM platform. To use the feature, you need to enable it in the gateway System setting in the WisDM.
From the Share logs drop-down menu, choose the way you want to share the logs:
- External Server
- Both WisDM and External Server
For the logs to be available in the WisDM, choose option – WisDM. Additional fields will be displayed where you need to set the logs’ retrieve periods – from 1 to 24 hours. And the rotation cycle – from 1 to 30 days. Click save changes to update the gateway settings.
After completing the steps, you will be able to see the History Log button on the Gateway overview page.
Note: The logs will appear based on the retrieving period!
On the History Log page, you will find the logs of your gateway. You have the option to apply a filter to sort the logs based on a time period.
